Wow. Not even Wednesday, and it's already a bad week on the Internet. In light of both that and my weird sleeping habits, I bring you yet another post about "Are You Now or Have You Ever Been." Aren't you excited?

And, hey, a moment of WTF-ery unrelated to wank*: when Angel's electrocuting the Thesulac here, do y'all see that random dude in the background next to the wall? What the hell? Hee.

*I like that the mods' defense seems to be, well, when we were dickheads in the past, we didn't change the prompts, so we're not gonna do that this time, either! Okay? Okay! God. You know, because I cling to a tiny tiny hope for fandom, I am willing to extend the mods of DD the benefit of the doubt and believe they had no understanding of miscegenation as a racist concept, even though my born-and-bred-in-NC-self is screaming bloody murder at the thought, but what I don't understand is why they refused to change the prompt after WQ asked them. Calmly. More importantly, privately. She wasn't even asking them to change the kink, which is pretty damn tolerant of her, considering they've apparently got interracial sex lumped in there with bestiality.

It really is a bad week on the Internet. *head explodes*

I've been thinking about doing this post for a while, and I really wanted to get it done while the series is still mostly fresh in my mind, but there's a caveat: I am so high right now. Legitimate medical reason. I don't even know if this stuff will make any sense, and god only knows what my coding will look like.

Sometimes refreshing your knowledge of the canon (hee, it's like the Bible, or Sherlock Holmes) can be a bitch. Example: I can't read one of my favorite pieces of fic right now, just because there is no way for me to accept that, during season four, during the battle with the Beast and all the shit with his family, Angel would not only leave them but leave his mission. And I can't really handle him saying he doesn't love Connor. I am agog at the shit I read. And, randomly, SMG looks like a fucking ghoul on the cover of the S7 DVDs. Gah.

I honestly do not believe how many times I cursed in this post. Somewhere in NC, all of my relatives are blushing. Except maybe my grandma.
